Men's Dress Code - **Dhoti** (white or cream unstitched cloth) for the ritual itself — mandatory at Vishnupad Temple inner sanctum - **Kurta-Pyjama** is acceptable for outer mandap areas and general pilgrimage - No belts, shoes, or leather items inside temple premises - Head shaving (Mundan) is traditional but optional for the ceremony
Women's Dress Code - **Saree** (white, cream, or light colours) is traditional for the ceremony - **Salwar-Kameez with dupatta** is acceptable - No sleeveless or western attire at Vishnupad Temple - Remove footwear at all temple ghats and sacred sites
